We are delighted to announce the launch of our online shop today.
Our shop “tetote” brings authentic Japanese handmade crafts directly from artisans’ hands to Swiss homes. As our first featured brand, we are proud to introduce “deidei”.
“deidei” is a brand offering handcrafted Mino ceramics tableware from Kani, Gifu Prefecture — the heart of Japan’s renowned Mino ware region.
Using traditional pottery techniques and distinctive glazes such as Shino and Oribe, the workshop produces beautifully crafted pieces with a minimalist design that seamlessly blend into the modern dining experience.
With a vision to share their craftsmanship both within Japan and globally, deidei has been actively expanding their reach. Their participation in "MONO JAPAN", a group exposition in the Netherlands this past January, was met with great acclaim from international visitors.
It is one of the most up-and-coming workshops to watch.
